M.A.C Wonder Women Collection!

OMG! WONDER WOMEN COLLECTION CAME OUT ! ONLY IN SOHO!!!!!!!!
The pop up red M.A.C store was amazing, the collection is available February 10, 2011 to everyone else. However, NEW YORK SOHO was the FIRST store in the WORLD !
I sadly purchased only 1 item a SUPER SIZED lipglass because I wasn't fond of the color theme.
I did take a picture of the collection, hopefully you can judge it for yourselves.
Ok, so a quick overview. The collection comes with one black liner (pen) but it looks like a magic marker, cause of the size.  One pair of really dramatic lashes, black with a little bit of silver white. Two nail lacquers 1 in red the other in black. Three pigments, 1 in a bronze / gold  (shimmery) , a cobalt blue (matte) , a vibrant cherry red (matte). One glitter in pearly white.  Four lipsticks, a bronze (lustre) , (matte) bright red , magenta pink , and a very soft peachy pink (lustre). Four lipglasses, very same to the lipsticks however, the red and pink are way more pigmented! there extremely bright. The bronze lipglass has a bit more of a golden shimmer to it unlike the lipstick. One SUPER SIZE trio bronzer, which is very pretty but, I don't use bronzers. It contains a golden beautiful shimmer color and two miniature circles of a light champagne color, amazing if you want to use as a highlighter. Two duo blushes, one has a blue toned pink and a deeper toned pink , the other one is very pretty; it has a coral pink and a peach color. Three quads, they are a mixture of satin and matte finishes. The pink quad has a very deep maroon , deep blue pink, a frosty pink, and a very pale pink as a highlight. The blue has a very bright beautiful sapphire blue, a pale gray blue, a light periwinkle color, and a white with blue undertone. The green is the most pretty, I might go back and get it.  A beautiful Forrest green, a mid-tone green with shimmer , a light yellow green , a white with golden a golden sheen also with shimmer. All 3 quads contain shimmer , but I didn't really find any of them eye catching , maybe the green.
The lipglass I got , Emancipation

7 Deadly Beauty Sins

1. Extra Moisturizing : It's good to moisturize your face daily with a Lightweight moisturizer , however, too much can cause breakouts. If  you have acne prone skin this is pretty much suicide for face! You can also try a serum which will help keep you pores clean.

2. Pop imperfections :  Having a zit is the worse, especially when you have a night or date planned. However, Popping them or picking at it will make it worse. Try a acid treatment like bezel peroxide , products from Bliss are really good. Glycolic acid base products can also help improve the skin and texture.

3. Extra Exfolio : Exfoliating is healthy for the skin because it takes away all that dirt and dead skin off to get you all glowing! But, Too much can expose your face to the sun and even your favorite products it can also dry out your skin. Since your skin is more dryer in the winter once a week should be good enough and the summer time 2 to 3 time a week should be perfect.

4. Bed print : Had a fun night? and now your just tired and want to knock out. Wait! you have to remove your makeup first! you can become lazy after a long day or night but sleeping with your makeup on can cause breakouts and clog your pores. Nigh time is when your skin repairs itself, so can keep some makeup wipe next to your bed in case you hit the bed before the bathroom.

5. PillowTalk : Change your pillow case every week , build up from the oils in your hair can cause breakouts and even pink eye.

6. Eye Tug : Applying the perfect liner for your eyes can be tricky. When applying eyeliner people tend to tug and pull their eyes tight to make it stiff, that can cause dark circles and fine lines and if you have them already it'll make it worse. Pulling and Tugging can break the tiny blood vessels under the eye since your eye area is extremely sensitive. Gently stretch the lid to line your eyes, or you can even look down slightly if using a gel/cream liner because they glide on smoother.

7. Mask It: We all want to look flawless when we apply our foundation. However, you want it to look natural not like a mask. So when applying slightly go pass your jaw line and into you hair line. Assuming you have the exact color match it will not look unnatural.

So Which 1 Are You?

Inglot Eye Primer

Eye primers are a must have for us makeup addicts. So many brands out there and yet we are glued to the basics , Urban Decay , Two faced , and what’s becoming more popular now the E.L.F one too. However, I decided to give Inglot primer a try. Um.... not so satisfied, I tried applying a little bit and even a decent amount, but I felt it didn't hold well especially when I applied a base. (i.e. NYX jumbo eye pencil) I tried it with several different eye shadows, Makeup Forever and Inglot shadows I felt held better because the pigmentation was strong but as for the rest it didn't hold. I was a bit disappointed, but that's why you have to try things to see what works best for you, because I'm pretty sure for someone else it works much better.

So if you have fine lines under your eye that causes your concealer to Crease. Apparently there are a few things you can use to help prevent this problem or to help reduce them depending on the amount of fine lines you have. Normally the fine lines will appear in the inner part under your eye. I have tried Patricia Wexler M.D, No Injection Instant Line Filler. I have used it for several weeks now, and I have seen that it helps my concealer go on a bit more smoother and I do notice that my concealer doesn't settle in my lines. However, I still see a few fine lines, but it looks much better than before. Also, you can use it on your lips for the lines, I barely apply it to my bottom and top lip in a patting motion and mix it with Vaseline . I find it works more effectively that way and helps keep your lip products on a bit longer. And of course all you MAC heads, I'm pretty sure you are familiar with the Prep + Prime line Filler.
